- Package up to $156,296 pa. Package includes salary range ($125,693 pa to $138,510 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
- Office located in Greenacre (minimum 3 days per week in the office, with possible required travel to other Fire and Rescue NSW locations)
**About the role**:
The HR Business Partner's responsibilities include:
- Providing advice on a range of complex HR issues, including interpretation of agreements, legislation and policies, grievances, conflict, performance management and other workplace issues.
- Providing coaching and mentoring to managers across FRNSW.
- Managing, facilitating and administering a broad range of HR processes and facilitating process improvement.
- Developing and reviewing HR related policies, implementing HR policies, legislations or directions from Premiers Department NSW and the Public Service Commission NSW (PSC).
- Monitoring and maintaining HR systems and management practices, identifying emerging issues for consideration in strategic policy development and also contributing to that policy development.
- Supporting the HR Helpdesk on issues related to entitlements, leave and pay for all employees (Firefighters, Administration, Trades and Senior Executives), including pay discrepancies:
- leave issues (including Parental Leave)
- payment of allowances/increments/overtime
- miscellaneous deductions
- Transfers, temporary assignments, secondments and appointments
- Recognition of Prior Service
- leaving FRNSW, including resignations and retirements
- entitlement advice and award interpretation.
**About you**:
- You will have demonstrated experience in providing HR advice and coaching managers in the management of workplace issues
- High level knowledge of human resources legislation, policies, practices and strategies; and experience in the use of human resources information systems (experience in SAP is preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in case management services.
**Essential Requirements**:
1. Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or equivalent HR experience
2. Valid driver's licence
