About the Role
The role of a Support Associate is to support individuals with disabilities, focusing on skill development and enriching their lives through engaging activities.
This position may involve providing in-home support for clients, which could require working afternoon and night shifts.
Key responsibilities include:
* Engaging with clients effectively and building positive relationships
* Supporting unique client needs and developing skills through creative activities
* Providing in-home support for clients, including shift work and sleepovers
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Confidence in interacting with diverse clients and their families
* Resilience and self-assurance in managing challenging situations
* Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills
* A valid Australian Driver's License and Working With Children Check
* Certificate III or IV in Disability Support (desirable)
