Job Description
We require a leader with a deep understanding of luxury guest expectations and the ability to exceed them through personalized and imaginative service.
Main Accountabilities
1. Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the hotel, focusing on maximizing Room, F&B, and ancillary revenue from the transient leisure and MICE market segments.
2. Provide clear communication and direction to all stakeholders through a framework of Data, Insights, and Action.
3. Utilize data to understand competitive trends, market dynamics, guest needs, and feedback.
4. Oversee revenue and business intelligence to ensure optimal rate strategies across all room products to maximize revenue.
5. Prepare comprehensive commercial reports to analyze past performance and identify risks, opportunities, and strategies.
6. Develop the Commercial Plan annually as part of the overall hotel budget.
7. Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Attend monthly Owners meetings to present performance results and future strategies to maximize revenue.
9. Inspire and lead your team with vision and purpose.
10. Drive initiatives that integrate technological innovation with human connection.
11. Contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the resort.
12. Uphold Sofitel’s French Art de Vivre, reinterpreted for the next generation of luxury travelers.
Qualifications
* Minimum 4-5 years of senior sales/marketing management experience within the premium hotel or airline industry, with proven success in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies.
* Leadership qualities, ownership, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Strong communication skills to relate effectively with team members, peers, senior management, and investors.
* Outgoing, self-motivated personality with a pleasant demeanor.
