This part-time role requires work for 2 days per week, with flexible days that can be discussed with the Village Manager.As a Maintenance Officer, your duties will include:Ensure maintenance and repairs of common property including grounds, facilities, and gardens, as required.Perform basic handyperson tasks including cleaning, painting, lighting maintenance, TV installations, hanging paintings, clearing gutters, disposal of rubbish, checking and maintaining air conditioning, tiling, basic plumbing, pool maintenance, furniture removal, and general repairs.Ensure planned maintenance of village assets is executed in accordance with the maintenance plan and legislative requirements.Undertake reactive maintenance on village assets and resident assets as requested.Support residents with maintenance in their unit in line with Keyton procedure.Ensure that all maintenance activity is conducted to Keyton and Resident Committee standards.Escalate maintenance issues to Grounds Supervisor and/or Village Manager, as appropriate.Ensure all maintenance activity complies with relevant legislation and trade qualifications.Utilise Keyton preferred suppliers where relevant and ensure all works are conducted within budget and procedure.Who You AreTo be successful in your application, you must have:Experience in General Maintenance works as a maintenance person, tradesperson or handyperson.An understanding of machinery use and tools required for various repairs.Be organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise tasks.Proficient in using a mobile phone.
