of projects, develop relationships with clients, and coordinate a team of EcologistsShow off your expertise in state and federal legislation, including EPBC Act, Vegetation Management Act, Nature Conservation Act, Planning Act, Offsets Act and associated guidelines.Compile, edit and review specialised reports for clients, and legislation driven applications, permits and reporting.Develop and submit proposals and tenders, guiding the Tender Team to ensure alignment with Biodiversity Australia’s standards.Drive business development with new and existing clients.Coordinate projects efficiently, ensuring they meet both internal and external client expectations in terms of timelines and financial considerations.Proactively plan and manage resource needs, ensuring your team is equipped for growth.Why you're a good match:Tertiary qualification in Ecology, Zoology, and/or Natural Resource Management or equivalent.10+ years of experience conducting ecology field assessments throughout QLD.Demonstrated experience in managing ecological assessments including impact assessments, baseline assessments, offset monitoring.Experience in conducting ecological assessments as part of the federal and state development process.High attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperienced in field-based ecological survey design methodologies and data flora and fauna surveys, through to commercial delivery.Show off your expertise in legislation, particularly QLD legislation, including Vegetation Management Act, Nature Conservation Act, EPBC Act, and State and Federal offset guidelines.Leverage your networking skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients across the resources, infrastructure, government, defence, residential, and aviation sectors.Lead and mentor field Ecologists and Fauna team members and use your expert knowledge to support the Ecology division.Preparation of Research and Technical Reports, Field Surveys, Impact Assessments, Analytics, Approvals and more.Assist the Tender Team with the preparation of submissions and proposals, utilising your technical writing expertise.Why you're a good match:Tertiary
