About the role

Lead and manage biomedical engineering services, ensuring safe, high-quality care and effective resource use. Oversee maintenance, projects, and compliance across diverse devices and systems. Engage with clients, contractors and staff, reporting to divisional leadership.


Key duties

* Lead safe and timely biomedical services across sites and regions
* Manage budgets, assets, staff and contractors to meet service goals
* Ensure high standards of quality, compliance and risk management
* Oversee complex maintenance programs, projects and biomedical systems
* Promote innovation, continuous improvement and workforce training
* Demonstrated experience in managing and evaluating the delivery of remedial and preventative maintenance services including the ability to build customer relations, create service delivery schedules and develop standardised processes
* Demonstrated experience in managing and monitoring staff and contractor performance and fostering the development of staff
* Sound experience in providing specialist biomedical engineering analysis and expertise in the resolution of highly complex remedial maintenance issues
* Experience in planning and delivering continuous improvement projects, processes, systems and organisational change initiatives
