About the Role

This role is all about lifting capability, strengthening how we work, and guiding our core business systems into their next evolution. You’ll lead a talented Applications Team, build strong partnerships across The Gordon, and bring a steady hand to change, governance and continuous improvement.
Some key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, co-designing system roadmaps aligned with strategic needs.
* Lead, mentor and grow an Applications Team of analysts and developers, creating a supportive and high-performing culture.
* Oversee enterprise applications, ensuring reliability, security, data quality and alignment with organisational priorities. (e.g. Student Management, HR and Finance etc.)
* Drive structured change management, including testing, impact analysis and communication.
* Collaborate across ICT, the PMO and vendors to deliver projects, uplift governance and contribute to strategic planning.

About You
You’re a confident, people-focused leader who loves bringing clarity to complexity and helping teams shine. You enjoy working across a variety of business areas, turning requirements into real solutions, and building partnerships grounded in trust, curiosity and great communication. You’re energised by improving systems, supporting your team and lifting capability across The Gordon.
You will bring:
* Leadership experience across technical teams including analysts and developers, with a passion for mentoring and building capability.
* Strong expertise across enterprise applications, including lifecycle management, system optimisation and supporting business?critical environments.
* Proven ability to translate business needs into functional or technical requirements, supported by experience in mapping processes, analysing gaps and improving how work gets done.
* Experience implementing structured project and change management approaches, including testing, impact analysis and continuous improvement.
* Confident vendor engagement skills with experience partnering with external providers to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

Salary Range
PACCT 8 - $109,738.00 - $115,581.00 + Superannuation
