We are currently seeking a personable Warehouse Storeperson to join a privately owned WA company supplying products to the construction industry. Based in Canning Vale, this full-time role works 7:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday, with occasional early starts and finishes available.
The role is approximately 80% warehouse duties and 20% trade counter sales support. This position is a true all‐rounder role, assisting in receivals, picking, packing, forklift operation, and dispatch. As needed, you will also assist customers at the trade counter and help load customer vehicles when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Receiving, checking and unloading incoming deliveries and entering goods into the system
* Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch, courier or customer collection
* Loading customer vehicles and delivery trucks and operating forklifts
* Assisting customers at the trade counter when required, including preparing invoices and helping identify products
* Maintaining warehouse organisation, stock control and assisting with stock counts
Requirements
* Forklift licence and operating experience
* Previous warehouse or stores experience
* Good computer literacy and ability to learn systems such as NetSuite and Outlook
* Physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling tasks
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Current driver's licence
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
