Senior Social Media Manager Hommey | Melbourne | Full-Time Most brands post content. You build presence. We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager who knows the difference between filling a content calendar and building a brand in culture. This is a senior, strategic role with real ownership, a direct report, and the scope to shape how Hommey shows up across every platform it owns, and with every person it reaches. That means strategy, cultural relevance, team leadership, industry research, performance and owning impact on business outcomes. Not just the content calendar. Day to day, you’ll be: Setting and evolving the social media strategy across, but not limited to, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest for both AU and US markets Leading the creative approach to all owned channels, holding a high aesthetic standard that is unmistakably Hommey Collaborating with Marketing, Brand, Product and eCommerce at the brief stage, not as an afterthought, to bring a curiosity in how brand truly tell stories Support in researching, developing and implementing communications strategies that allow Hommey to tap into culture with authenticity and bring a social-first mindset to earned media thinking Supporting the paid social team with organic insights and creative direction that sharpen performance Leading your direct report with care, clear expectations and meaningful development conversations Building briefing infrastructure so the team can produce great work consistently, including templates, copy toolkits and community management guidelines Monitoring and reporting on performance weekly, with monthly campaign reviews that feed back into the content strategy Who We’re Looking For We want someone who is equally at home setting the vision and getting into the work. Someone who has strong opinions about what great content looks and feels like, and the conviction to back them. You’re the right fit if you: Bring 6 to 8 years in social media, including at least 2 years in a senior lead or head of role within a consumer, DTC or lifestyle brand Have a deep, instinctive understanding of Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest and how to make each platform work hard for a brand Hold a genuine eye for brand and aesthetics, you care about how Hommey looks and feels in the world Are analytically literate, you read data with ease, draw the right conclusions and use it to make sharper decisions Understand how social connects to awareness, acquisition and revenue, and can articulate that to senior stakeholders Collaborate generously, you bring a strong perspective into cross-functional conversations without needing to own every outcome Communicate with clarity and warmth, people feel clear and confident after every conversation with you Desirable but not essential: Experience across both Australian and US social landscapes Exposure to influencer and PR strategy and how those channels work together Familiarity with paid social and how organic insights translate into paid performance Experience managing UGC programmes and integrating creator content into a broader brand strategy What’s on Offer A senior-level role with genuine ownership and real strategic scope A direct report and the opportunity to build team culture from within A brand with a clear point of view and a product people genuinely love A collaborative, commercially driven marketing team that moves with pace and care Full-time, Monday to Friday, based in Melbourne Ready to own it?
