About the Role:
As a Anatomical Laboratory Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional educational experiences for students and staff.
Your primary responsibilities include providing technical support for human anatomy undergraduate classes, ensuring safety and hygiene compliance, reporting incidents, and participating in safety audits and training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for human anatomy undergraduate classes;
* Mitigate University-related risks by ensuring safety and hygiene compliance;
* e.g. dissections to create high-quality anatomical specimens,
The allocation of cadaveric resources/dissection material/,
'while maintaining security processes/regulatory compliance;'
Detailed Responsibilities include:
-Dissection/prosection of cadaveric material to create high-quality anatomical specimens/for teaching/research-Embalming/donor bodies/gross sectioning/preparation/dissections/students/staff/Specialised specimen preparation techniques(including:Skeletonisation/Museum specimen potting/Others as required)/Maintaining/safe/compliant laboratory environment/by developing/reviewing/following risk assessments/& safe work method statements,-Identifying/reporting hazards/incidents/-Performing routine lab cleaning/maintenance-/Support regulatory compliance/meeting workplace/safety standards/Providing operational support/Human Bequest Program.-Assisting stock control procurement asset management/anatomy pathology equipment/consumables'
Requirements Include:
/Degree qualifications/human anatomy related field,+Relevant experience/or combination/experience education/Proven experience familiar with/equipment utilized Human Anatomy laboratories/Demonstrated expertise/coaching guidance/involving policy procedures-experienced working./human anatomical specimens/material preparing-teaching purposes;-Hepatitis B vaccination demonstrated serology proved;/Understanding Work Health Safety legislation/practical application-deliver safe/work or learning environment-/Required skills described are listed below.
