Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our payroll operations across Australia and New Zealand.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing, and driving continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls across multiple entities
* Review and validate payroll data, including wages, overtime, allowances, and deductions
* Apply relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and legislative requirements correctly
* Maintain compliant payroll records and support internal and external audits
* Process termination, redundancy, and statutory payments
* Prepare and lodge payroll tax, superannuation, BAS/IAS, and related returns
* Reconcile payroll accounts and support budgeting and forecasting
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in end-to-end payroll across multiple entities
* 2+ years in a senior or supervisory payroll role
* Strong understanding of awards, enterprise agreements, and payroll legislation
* High attention to detail with excellent numeracy skills
* Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Advanced Excel skills
