What you'll be doing
* Deliver commercial results – Manage sales, gross profit, and trade partner support to budget, driving profitable growth across all channels in the Power Tools & Hardware category.
* Shape the range & reset the strategy – Plan and optimise the product assortment, from new product development to private brand creation, unlocking untapped potential and setting the course for long-term category growth.
* Lead strategy – Develop and execute a clear category plan, aligning with SCA's strategic objectives and delivering a compelling Power Tools & Hardware offer.
* Maximise promotions & pricing – Build high-performing promotional programs and pricing strategies backed by competitor insights and data analysis.
* Drive partnerships – Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with trade partners, global sourcing teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver results.
* Deliver operational excellence – Ensure compliance, maintain high-quality standards, and keep cross-functional teams aligned and informed.
What you'll bring
* Proven retail category management, merchandise, or buying experience
* Experience Power Tools, Hardware, Automotive, or related industries is highly desirable
* Strong commercial acumen with advanced analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
* Demonstrated ability to redefine category strategy and execute initiatives for long-term growth.
* Experience in managing product lifecycles and developing new ranges.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and a data-driven approach to decision-making
