Employment type: Permanent, part-time
Roster: Flexible roster, up to 56 hours a fortnight. Includes a Saturday 8:00 am‐1:00 pm shift.
Location: Slade Pharmacy, Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast QLD.
Who we're looking for: All registered Pharmacists, new or community pharmacists, are welcome to apply. No prior hospital experience required.
About the Role
A Hospital Pharmacist providing hands‐on clinical pharmacy services, supporting patient care and working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
* Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.
* Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.
* Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stays, day infusions, and discharges.
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients.
* Support patients, carers, hospital staff, and associated employees.
* Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection, and the quality use of medicines.
Essential Requirements
* Current AHPRA registered pharmacist with experience in an Australian pharmacy.
* Australian working rights.
* Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
* Good time management, communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexible and adaptable working with a diverse team.
* Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
