Senior Safety and Wellbeing Leader
In this dynamic and strategic role, you will lead the charge in creating a safer, healthier, and more vibrant workplace.
* You will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and oversight of our safety and wellbeing strategy, policies, and processes.
* You will work closely with the executive team to identify and mitigate critical operational risks, and develop key performance indicators to measure success.
* You will partner with operational stakeholders to implement health and safety training programs, and engage stakeholders to achieve best practice safety and legislative compliance.
* You will lead the workers compensation self-insurance function, ensuring governance and compliance, and applying best practice approaches to maintain self-insurance license.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior safety and wellbeing operational leadership role, preferably within retail, hospitality or non-profit organisation.
* Demonstrated experience in implementing psychosocial risk management strategies and associated programs.
* Track record in influencing executive and senior stakeholders through building trusted and respected relationships.
* Ability to think strategically and implement operationally in a complex and challenging environment.
