Work type:

Part Time (Permanent) 30.00 hours per week


Schedule:

Expected to work weekdays with the ability to cover Saturday and Sunday shifts, as required

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Scientist who will be responsible for:

* Performing manual and automated diagnostic testing
* Routine procedures from specimen reception to results
* Assisting with stock control
* Maintaining records and equipment in line with protocols
* Contributing to quality assurance and continuous improvement
* Participating in staff training and liaising with stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and quality procedures


About You:

To be considered, you will need:

* Bachelor of Science, Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science), or equivalent
* Experience and skills in the discipline
* Knowledge of QC, QAP, and troubleshooting
* Ability to identify and implement quality improvements
* High level of independence and commitment to quality
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work in a busy environment and problem-solve
* Attention to detail and accuracy
