**The Company;**
Our client is the 2018 National Aged Care Provider of the Year. Committed to supporting older people and creating inspiring communities through delivering innovative and quality care, superior services, practices and management. This community owned, not-for-profit organisation is currently seeking an experienced and highly capable Deputy Residential Manager for their 160 bed facility in Bundanoon. There are two Deputy Residential Managers in this large home.
**The Role;**
You will ultimately work beside the 2nd Deputy Residential Manager and support the Residential Manager in the overall successful operation of the home. You will lead and reinforce the Service Delivery Model to enhance the quality of life for their residents, families and integrated communities in the area. You will effectively lead and manage Clinical and Wellbeing staff to achieve all operational and care deliverables including clinical, financial, compliance, customer service, customer lifestyle and wellbeing, and workplace culture targets.
**Required Skills;**
- Current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated leadership, operational and clinical management of a residential care home
- Extensive nursing experience at a senior level including responsibility for supervising staff and providing clinical oversight
- Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary teams, blending clinical care with customer lifestyle and wellbeing
- Demonstrated experience in ensuring appropriate systems and processes are in place to assess customers and maximise revenue using ACFI
- Experience in conflict resolution and dealing with highly emotional situations
- Demonstrated experience in quality management, accreditation and systems compliance, preferably in a leadership role
- Advanced communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills including facilitation of sensitive conversations with staff, customers and family members.
- Demonstrated knowledge of change management, quality improvement, customer service principles and staff education principles.
