Reporting to the Director, Quality Control and collaborating directly with both Quality Control, Customer Success, Customer Solutions & Billing and Credit Teams, the Associate Director, Strategy is responsible for establishing a proactive, forward-looking, customer-focused assurance & compliance strategy.
They will set a clear vision and roadmap for overall scope & operating model, that aligns with Optus objectives, risk profiles, external regulatory requirements and also leading industry benchmarks.
**Your day in the life of an Associate Director (Strategy) at Optus**
- Develop & Maintain a clear roadmap & strategy, encapsulating Quality Control vision & strategy, that integrates innovation, operational efficiency, and scalability across initiatives and with Optus' objectives, regulatory requirements & industry standards.
- Ensure Quality Control has representation & influence in the key strategic decision-making forums to embed quality as a core principle across the business.
- Collaborate with Quality control leadership to create, measure and report on clear performance metrics and targets to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control initiatives and their alignment with strategic goals.
- Lead and develop strategic framework for senior leadership engagement including critical documentation & proposals relating to the overall Quality Control operations, clearly articulating wins and areas of opportunity to allow for effective decision making.
**Your skills to pay the bills**
- Extensive experience as a Senior Manager in risk management or control / quality control.
- Core understanding of Business casing and commercial acumen including CAPEX and OPEX development.
- Demonstrated success in a senior leadership role overseeing quality control or related strategic functions in a complex, regulated environment.
- Strategic thinking ability and delivery of projects and key frameworks.
- Preferred knowledge of Contact Centres, Retail channels and billing and credit.
