About the role:
The Payroll Team Lead oversees day-to-day payroll operations and leads a small team to deliver accurate, compliant payroll processing. They navigate award/EBA complexities, drive process improvements and work closely with HR, Finance and Operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor and support a small payroll team
* Manage end-to-end payroll for a varied workforce
* Ensure compliance with legislation, awards and superannuation requirements
* Oversight payroll reporting, reconciliations and audits
* Identify process improvements and strengthen payroll controls
* Manage complex queries and provide expert payroll guidance to stakeholders
