Job Overview
This pivotal role is responsible for spearheading operational strategy, ensuring seamless and efficient freight movement while consistently enhancing customer service.
* Ensure all removals are conducted with utmost efficiency, overseeing and assisting international relocations in operational requirements, meeting stringent quality standards and customer expectations.
* Coordinate customer services for day-to-day operations of domestic and international relocations, guaranteeing timely and efficient uplift and delivery of consignments.
* Foster a culture of collaboration by liaising with customers and employees to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Operations Department.
* Monitor the performance of contract carriers, ensuring adherence to Allied quality benchmarks and company policies, and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
* Optimize container demurrage costs, ensuring judicious utilization of equipment and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide and maintain a secure working environment by maintaining plant and equipment and providing necessary information, instruction, training, and supervision to ensure the safety of all personnel and visitors on site.
* Assist the claims department to promptly address customer complaints regarding damages or missing items.
* Administer clerical functions related to the Operations Department.
