About the Role:
The Charity Assistant will support the daily operations of Blue Tree Project, contributing to various initiatives and programs. This role is ideal for an organised and motivated individual who is passionate about mental health advocacy and community engagement. This role will assist in all critical areas of business including (but not limited to) administration, event planning, resource development and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the team, including managing emails, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.
* Help support and coordinate community events, workshops, and training sessions, including logistics and participant/volunteer communication.
* Event day assistance at larger scale activations which may include travel to regional and rural Western Australia.
* Assist Marketing Manager with campaign prep & social media content.
* Processing online orders and requests.
* Management of merchandise, assets & stocktake.
* Manage data tracking e.g. fundraising, paint requests & tree registrations.
Requirements/Qualifications:
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Google Work Space.
* Passion for mental health awareness and community support.
* Experience in a nonprofit setting is a plus.
* Driver's licence and car.
