Job Overview
This hands-on apprenticeship supports your completion of a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, offering a structured and supported pathway to becoming a qualified tradesperson.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and manufacture equipment used in production, ensuring product accuracy through the use of precision measuring instruments
* Operate CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other workshop equipment with minimal supervision
* Carry out manual machining, drilling, grinding, and fitting tasks with attention to detail and safety protocols
* Interpret technical drawings to complete tasks efficiently
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of tools and machinery to prevent downtime
* Foster a clean, organised work environment by adhering to workplace safety protocols
* Participate in structured on-the-job and off-site training as part of your trade qualification
