About the Role:
The Quality Manager will have a key leadership role in the coordination, implementation and monitoring of Lifeview's Quality and Risk Management systems to ensure excellence & consistency in the care and services delivered across our homes.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside our dedicated clinical and operational teams to ensure conformance with the new Strengthened Standards whilst delivering meaningful outcomes for residents, their families and the wider Lifeview community.
This role encompasses but is not limited to providing support and education to managers and the clinical team in all aspects of quality, compliance, and risk mitigation within the business.
Executive level position will be considered for the right applicant.
About you:
* Registered Nurse holding current AHPRA registration, without notation
* Minimum of 5 years of experience working in audit process in Residential Aged Care Services
* Demonstrated understanding of corporate and clinical governance principles and application of risk management concepts within aged care settings
* Ability to develop, initiate, and contribute to internal audits' continuous improvement program by identifying or championing areas of improvement within the audit function, its processes, and systems
* Serve as a clinical and non-clinical compliance subject matter expert
* Manage, support, and oversee the audit requirements
* Demonstrated in depth knowledge of Aged Care Act, Standards, guidelines and regulations
* Demonstrated experience in identification of gaps, incident investigation, data analysis, risk identification and corrective actions management to mitigate risk
* Demonstrate excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
* Be a strong leader, great communicator and have the skills to build lasting stakeholder relationships
* Hold a current driver's license and current police check
* Be flexible and able to travel to different Lifeview residences, with short notice
