Sales Territory Manager - Pumps
About the Role:
We are seeking a Sales Territory Manager to join our team. This role will involve supporting and developing our Pumps business lines technologies portfolio, providing onsite and offsite technical sales support for our team and customers. You will collaborate with other business teams to ensure exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for profitable Pumps PG sales growth, both capex and services, for assigned sites.
* Maintain a responsive approach to customers in the assigned territory.
* Troubleshoot equipment and service issues with technical experts.
* Develop and implement growth and aftermarket retention strategies tailored to customer needs.
* Track market share and opportunity gaps, focusing on closing them.
* Develop pump trial proposals based on business cases.
* Provide quarterly budgeting and forecasting for assigned sites.
* Maintain customer records using CRM systems.
* Build rapport as a trusted advisor for slurry pumping needs.
* Provide first-class customer care and face-to-face interactions.
* Train key customer personnel in pump application and operation.
* Maintain knowledge of industry processes, competitors, and market influences.
Requirements:
* Experience in sales and customer relationship management.
* Mining industry understanding and experience.
* Experience with maintenance support.
* Result-driven with a proactive attitude.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively for face-to-face customer engagement.
* Knowledge of CRM systems.
