Meat Slaughtering and Boning Opportunity
A role has become available at our Brooklyn plant for skilled meat slaughtering and boning professionals. We are seeking individuals who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, take direction from supervisors, and provide support to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
* Must adhere to workplace health and safety procedures
* Ability to work within a team environment with good communication skills
* High focus and attention to detail, particularly when performing high levels of slaughtering duties
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in slaughtering and boning duties, relevant qualifications (Cert 2/3 Meat processing) advantageous but not essential. You will also need knowledge and understanding of different rotations, proven knife sharpening skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform high levels of slaughtering duties
2. Take direction from supervisors on improving daily duties
3. Support across the business to drive a culture of continuous improvement
