Fetch Recruitment are looking for a skilled and experienced site labourer to join one of our residential clients in Melbourne's south east.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who can act as the go-to helper on site, assisting trades and supervisors to keep builds running smoothly. This position offers consistent work with the opportunity to move into a full-time role for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
* General labouring duties on construction sites
* Site cleaning and maintaining a protected, tidy work environment
* Digging, trenching, and manual handling tasks
* Rubbish removal and skip management
* Assisting carpenters, bricklayers, and other trades as the go-to helper
* Loading and unloading materials and tools
* Following all site safety procedures and instructions
* Using hand and power tools when requested
Requirements
* Previous experience on residential construction sites preferred
* Valid driver's licence
* White Card (essential!)
* Full and unrestricted working rights
* Physically fit and capable of manual labour
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
