Alice Springs Hospital Pharmacy is seeking a Senior Pharmacist - Medical Lead to oversee, lead, and provide specialist clinical pharmacy services for the General Medical service at Alice Springs Hospital (ASH) and Tennant Creek Hospital (TCH).
This role offers the chance to be part of a modern, progressive department employing 20 pharmacists, 1 intern pharmacist, and 7 pharmacy technicians. The department is based within Alice Springs Hospital (ASH), a 200-bed facility and the only hospital in Central Australia, serving a catchment area of 1.6 million square kilometres. It has affiliations with multiple Australian Pharmacy Schools and functions as a teaching hospital for Flinders Medical School. Specialities include Indigenous health, Nephrology, Intensive Care, Infectious Diseases, Emergency, Maternity and Obstetrics, Rehabilitation, Hospital in the Home, Palliative Care, Day Oncology, Mental Health, as well as General Medical, Surgical, and Paediatric services.
The pharmacy provides ward-based clinical and drug information services to ASH and TCH, along with inpatient and outpatient dispensing, and non-sterile manufacturing. It also supplies medicines and advice to remote health clinics across NT, WA, SA, and QLD borders. ASH Pharmacy is an accredited SHPA Foundation Residency Program site supporting two resident positions.

* Salary from $110,873 to $124,173 plus six weeks of paid annual recreation leave and leave loading
