You’ll work in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team.About Cabarlah Health CentreCabarlah Clinic is located within Borneo Barracks, 14km north of Toowoomba. The barracks is home to the tri-service Defence Force School of Signals’ Electronic Warfare Wing and has approximately 250 members. The Clinic provides primary medical, dental, nursing, mental health and physiotherapy services to the base. Clinic staff may be required to work across Cabarlah & Oakey. Standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements).Your ImpactWe are seeking a Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join us in a permanent part time capacity, working Monday to Thursday, 0730 to 1530.As a Medical Officer, you will:Deliver primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policiesWork collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to support Defence personnelAssess fitness for duty and provide pre/post-deployment medical supportProvide medical technical advice to Defence leadershipWork across outpatient and inpatient care settings as neededWhat You’ll NeedUnrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical PractitionerFRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational RegistrationMinimum 2 years’ full time (or part time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 yearsAustralian Citizen – for Baseline Security Clearance requirementsWhy Join Us?Serco is a trusted partner of the Australian Defence Force, providing integrated healthcare across 40+ bases.
