Welcome to Punthill Caroline Springs

Gorgeous three‐story serviced apartment complex with 4 stars surrounded by a beautiful lake and bustling boardwalk of small businesses and cafes.

* Sitting atop several thriving restaurants and eateries, our boutique 80‐room hotel boasts a 24‐hour onsite gym and 2 conference rooms overlooking the lake.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you'll be part of a small team of genuine people, looking to create lasting memories and exceptional experiences for each and every guest. No day will be the same, but each day you'll strive to:

* Housekeeping team operations management, recruitment and training, rostering & timesheet approvals.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel's guest rooms, common areas and shared facilities.
* Implement & maintain our 'Veri-Best' housekeeping processes and policies within the team.
* Manage deep cleaning schedules, repair escalation, housekeeping projects, and budgets to metrics/targets.
* Conduct audits & checks to ensure compliance within housekeeping.
* Build strong and authentic relationships with your teammates and our guests.
* Ensure a clear line of communication between housekeeping and other teams within the hotel.
* Provide support and assistance to the Hotel Manager and be the housekeeping expert.

Skills and Experiences

About You

We work in a fast‐paced environment where no day is the same, so we're looking for people who are adaptable, enjoy variety and operate with an ownership mindset.

The successful person must have:

* Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights).
* First Aid Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting).
* Demonstrated experience leading a team with kindness in order to achieve outcomes.
* Demonstrated ability to problem solve, work together with departments, and manage budgets.
* High standards of attention to detail, cleanliness and communication skills (written & verbal).
