Medical Administrator – Broome Medical Clinic
25hrs/wk part time or casual
Broome Medical Clinic is seeking a reliable and professional Medical Administrator to expand our team on a part-time or casual basis (approximately 25 hours per week). This is a high-volume, patient-facing role suited to someone who is friendly, organised, calm under pressure, and confident managing competing demands. Previous medical reception experience is welcome, but not essential. We are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
* Greeting patients and providing a high standard of customer service
* Answering phones and managing patient enquiries
* Scheduling appointments
* Billing, receipting, and end-of-day balancing
* Administrative support for clinicians
* Using clinic systems and general office software
Essential Selection Criteria
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Reasonable skill level of computer use that includes the use of Microsoft products and patient management systems
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a high-volume environment and manage competing demands
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
* Professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in the workplace
* Previous experience in medical reception, administration, or customer service
Hours
Rostered hours may fall between 7:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
