**The Client**
We are currently seeking to recruit a Trainee to join an industry leader in the Transport and Logistics industry while completing a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations. Our client is an Australian based, global logistics business with an industry-leading national network and an international reach into more than 100 countries.
**The position**
An amazing entry-level opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to start their career in the administration/supply chain logistics, an industry that has been experiencing enormous growth. This traineeship suits anyone willing to build their career from the ground up, from recent school leavers to someone wanting to renter the workforce. Gain a fully paid Cert III in Supply Chain Operations (24mth certificate), while working full-time, Monday to Friday.
**Duties**:
- preparation of consignment notes, picking slips and labels for all delivery/despatch;
- Interact with depot staff to ensure client requirements are understood and actioned;
- Support to/coordination of order and activity requirements, such as stock collections, stocktakes, customer/other transport pick-ups and other similar activities;
- Take freight bookings;
- Assist with customer queries and resolving issues like order enquiries, ETAs etc;
- Complete data entry, scanning of connotes and checking Proof of Delivery (POD) compliance, entry of orders, receivables and charging requirements;
- Resolve scanning issues with freight in and out.

**Desirable Requirements**
- Minimum year 10 schooling.
- Strong computer skills & knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
- Excellent organisational & time management skills.
- Professional attitude and good communication skills.
- Excellent personal presentation for a corporate environment.
