Overview
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that Google Cloud's services—both internally critical and externally visible systems—have reliability, uptime appropriate to customer needs, and a fast rate of improvement. SREs monitor system capacity and performance, optimize existing systems, build infrastructure, and automate repetitive work. You’ll work on the challenges of scale unique to Google Cloud, applying your skills in coding, algorithms, complexity analysis, and large-scale system design. Google’s culture emphasizes curiosity, problem solving, collaboration, and a blame-free setting with opportunities for mentorship and growth.
With your technical expertise, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, and you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
