About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Online Youth Mental Health Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our service, you will provide direct support to young people using the MOST platform.
* You will welcome and engage with young people and families, helping them navigate our digital services and providing regular contact via messaging or phone.
* Accurate records of young people's engagement, monitoring their safety on the platform, and communicating regularly with referring clinicians will be maintained.
* Contribution to service development by working alongside peers and vocational workers to enhance the MOST model for supporting young people is expected.
* Maintaining weekly contact with MOST users via direct messaging, discussions on online forums, text message, telephone, or video call is essential.
Requirements:
Key Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatric Nursing or Social Work, along with full registration with AHPRA or eligibility with AASW.
* Understanding of youth mental health systems and ability to apply this knowledge to the Orygen Digital context.
* Experience working in clinical settings within the Western Australian youth mental health system.
* Ability to make informed decisions, solve problems, and manage risk in relation to young person's treatment.
* Awareness of mental health and social issues, experience working with individuals experiencing crises, and experience working with high-risk clients.
