Job Description
The Sous Chef will provide key support to the Head Chef and lead the kitchen team. Key responsibilities include supervising, leading, managing kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation and plating, and maintaining high-quality standards.
* Assist the Head Chef in supervising and leading the kitchen team.
* Manage kitchen operations during service, ensuring smooth workflow and timing.
* Oversee preparation, cooking, and plating to maintain high-quality standards.
Applicants should have at least 4-5 years of professional kitchen experience with leadership experience, strong multi-tasking ability, an excellent understanding of café-style food preparation and service standards, solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisational systems, good communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
