About the Role:
Curtin University is seeking a dedicated and talented individual to fill two permanent positions: one full-time (1.0 FTE - ALB/ALC) and one part-time (0.6 FTE - ALB). You will be responsible for coordinating units, conducting fieldwork, and teaching, while contributing to the development of innovative curriculum and effective learning materials.
Responsibilities:
* Unit Coordination: Design and conduct engaging learning activities across various formats to enhance student learning outcomes
* Fieldwork and Teaching: Collaborate with colleagues to innovate curriculum, assess student needs, and provide necessary support
* Supervision: Supervise honours and postgraduate students, maintaining awareness of current discipline practices and contributing to professional development in higher education
* Administrative Tasks: Manage course delivery, including assessment moderation, ensuring that curricular innovations accommodate diverse student needs for a successful university experience
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Doctoral qualification in Social Work (or equivalent accreditation and professional standing for Teaching Focused Clinical Professional role)
* Membership: Eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)
* Teaching Skills: Demonstrated high-level teaching skills and a reflective approach to teaching delivery
* Leadership Skills: Emerging record of contribution to scholarship in teaching and learning, including winning external grants and publishing in high-quality journals
