We are seeking a Student Support and Wellbeing Advisor to join, Student Services and Wellbeing, Administrative Division.
The Student Support and Wellbeing Advisor is responsible for providing high quality professional services to international and domestic students addressing issues that directly impact on student wellbeing and success.

The Student Support and Wellbeing team is a cohesive, connected, supportive and high functioning team. This position plays an integral role, alongside members of other multidisciplinary teams, in QUT Student Services, in supporting student wellbeing and success at all points of the student lifecycle..
**What you need to succeed**
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree in Social Work, with at least four (4) years' relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of welfare and wellbeing services to a diverse population, including brief intervention, risk assessment, crisis response and critical case management.
- Proven understanding of student transition and acculturation, financial, academic, and personal issues, as well as relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills with the ability to problem solve and use critical thinking while managing competing demands.
- Sound professional practice in confidentiality, records management, boundaries and supervision.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to design, deliver and evaluate, workshops, preventative programs, educational materials, activities, and events.
- Demonstrated understanding of inclusion, diversity, participation, and social justice.
