We are looking to grow our maintenance division in 2026 and beyond and have an exciting opportunity for a passionate horticulturist to join our team as a Garden Maintenance Supervisor.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has prior experience in the same or a similar role with demonstrated knowledge in ALL areas of gardening (including plant knowledge)
* Is passionate about horticulture and has an eagerness to learn and develop their skills as well as lead and impart knowledge to other employees, especially apprentices
* Is a supportive team player who helps to foster a culture of collaboration to achieve the best outcomes for our clients' gardens
* Has a Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens
* Has sound pest, disease and irrigation knowledge
* Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Maintains a high professional standard by taking an organised and efficient approach to tasks and responsibilities, and can problem‐solve when required
* Apprentices in their final year are encouraged to apply – we're not just looking for gardeners, we're looking for future leaders

What you can expect your days to look like:
* Complete general garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, mulching, hedging, irrigation repairs, pest and disease identification and control
* Take ownership of your own client list and the progression of the gardens you are working in
* Be a part of a positive team environment with a willingness to share your skills and knowledge with apprentices
* Our team works exclusively in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne (Canterbury, Camberwell, Kew, Hawthorn, Toorak, etc.)
