About the Role
* Multidisciplinary collaboration: Work with a diverse team of specialists, including on-site paediatricians, surgeons, physicians, obstetricians, anaesthetists, and more
* Comprehensive care: Manage patient care with Rural Generalists, Specialist Consultants, GPs, and Allied Health Professionals
* Emergency response: Participate in a 24/7 roster, including Code Blue calls
* Teaching and mentorship: Train junior doctors, medical students, and other health professionals
* Continuous improvement: Engage in quality improvement initiatives and ensure best-practice care
Requirements
* Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
* Fellowship with ACRRM or RACGP, or eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA
* Experience in managing adult and paediatric emergencies and inpatient services
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
