Radiographer – Casual (On-Call) – Newcastle Private Hospital

A unique opportunity exists for a highly motivated Radiographer to join our team at Newcastle Private Hospital on a casual basis with a willingness to share on-call, including weekends and a flexibility of hours in relation to daily workloads.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the perioperative team on a variety of procedures and casemix.
* Lead successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes.
* Patient registration on all equipment and ensuring data back-up.
* Haemodynamic monitoring for patients (training will be provided).
* Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
* Act as a role model for protected practice.
* Maintain Current AHPRA Registration and EPA Radiation Licence.
* Practice radiation safety.
* Communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
* Flexibility to participate in a fluctuating roster as required.
Qualifications
* ECG knowledge and Cath Lab experience (desirable).
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
* Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.
* Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused.

* Current National Police check.
