We are currently seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team and play a key role in securing and delivering projects across Victoria and beyond. As a part of this role, you will lead the preparation and submission of accurate, competitive tenders for civil and bulk earthwork projects. About the Role
As a Senior Estimator, your initial responsibilities will include:
Leading the preparation, review, and submission of tenders that maximise success and profitability.
Identifying and assessing new tender opportunities, making informed bid/no-bid recommendations.
Performing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimating, and risk analysis.
Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to secure the best value and minimise risk.
Developing construction programs and producing high-quality tender documentation.
Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure clear communication and project success.
About you
To be considered for this role the successful applicant must have:
Proven estimating experience in civil construction, bulk earthworks, or related industries.
Expertise in industry-standard estimating software and Microsoft Project.
Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously with strong organisational skills.
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or significant equivalent experience).
Valid driver's licence.
Valid working rights in Australia
