**A **Principal Health Risk Advisor - Chemicals **at EPA will**:
Lead and manage a team responsible for the delivery of EPA's environmental public health function as it relates to chemical exposure. They will support EPA to meet its statutory responsibilities and develop and oversee the delivery of high-quality advice, guidance, briefs, publications, and other reports, aligned to EPA's strategic priorities to prevent harm to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste. They will engage with the community and duty holders where human health risk advice is sought, and effectively manage feedback.
**About You**:
To be successful in this role you will possess a tertiary qualifications in health risk assessment, toxicology, environmental public health, or a related discipline and with extensive environmental public health / toxicology / risk assessment experience or equivalent demonstrable experience working in the field.
You will have extensive experience and knowledge of the environmental public health sector, regulatory frameworks, and current and emerging issues in environmental public health.
You will have experience in effectively communicating human health risk advice in relation to pollution and waste to stakeholders such as the community, duty holders and government, and have demonstrated experience in establishing partnerships between government agencies, industry, and community to establish operational level environmental public health actions and programs.
