Full-Time | Larrakeyah Campus, Northern Territory
Star College Australia is seeking a skilled and motivated Trainer & Assessor to join our team on a full-time basis, working from our Larrakeyah campus in the Northern Territory. Travel may be required to support training delivery in regional and remote locations.
The Role
You will deliver and assess nationally recognised training in accordance with RTO standards, supporting student engagement, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement across our programs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering face-to-face training and assessment
* Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback
* Supporting students with diverse learning needs
* Maintaining accurate assessment, attendance, and compliance records
* Participating in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities
* Working collaboratively with training, administration, and compliance teams
* Travelling to regional and remote locations when required
Essential Requirements
* TAE40122 (or equivalent)
* Relevant vocational qualifications within Star College Australia’s Training.gov.au scope
* Current industry experience relevant to the units being delivered
* Experience delivering training and assessment
* Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills
* Ability to work on campus and travel as required
Desirable
* Experience delivering training in regional or remote environments
* Cultural awareness and experience working with diverse learner cohorts
* Knowledge of current RTO compliance requirements
