Business Analyst – AML (Capital & Wealth Markets) Melbourne | 6-Month Initial Contract | Competitive Daily Rate We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation currently delivering a number of regulatory and financial crime initiatives across their Capital and Wealth Markets division. They are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong AML exposure to join the program on an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension. This role will sit within a high-performing transformation team working across AML uplift, regulatory compliance, and financial crime initiatives, engaging closely with business stakeholders, risk teams, and technology delivery. Key Responsibilities Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for AML and financial crime initiatives Facilitate workshops across risk, compliance, operations, and technology teams Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into clear functional and technical specifications Support delivery teams with process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design Assist with UAT planning and execution, ensuring solutions meet regulatory and operational requirements Produce high-quality artefacts including BRDs, user stories, process maps, and data requirements Key Skills & Experience Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within financial services Strong exposure to AML / Financial Crime / KYC / Transaction Monitoring initiatives Experience working within Capital Markets, Wealth Management, or Institutional Banking environments Ability to engage senior stakeholders across risk, compliance, and technology Strong documentation and workshop facilitation skills Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments Why Apply Opportunity to work on a high-profile regulatory and financial crime program Join a well-known financial services organisation in Melbourne Initial 6-month contract with strong extension potential If you're an experienced Business Analyst with AML experience in capital or wealth markets, and you're available for contract work in Melbourne, we’d love to hear from you.
