Your new company
Join a well-established operation in Mackay, supporting critical infrastructure for the local township. You'll work closely with the onsite manager and play a key role in maintaining IT systems that keep the community running smoothly.
Your new role
You'll be the sole onsite IT support, working Monday to Friday on a 5/2 roster. Responsibilities include:
* Hardware maintenance and network troubleshooting
* Managing Active Directory, Windows 11, and Microsoft 365 environments
* Supporting planned upgrades and labour hire projects
* Maintaining infrastructure for facilities such as the medical centre and gym cameras
This is a minimum 12-month contract with potential to extend. The start date is early January (from 6th Jan onwards).
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong experience in hardware maintenance and network troubleshooting
* Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 11, and Microsoft 365
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
* Flexibility for occasional overtime
