**The NDIS**
**Your Opportunity**
As a skilled and experienced Workplace Trainer coving the Southeast Metro areas, you will be based in the WA State Office. You will be a vital link between the NDIA and our Local Area Coordination (LAC) teams for NDIS-related learning and development needs. Your responsibilities as the Workplace Trainer include planning, facilitating, and delivering staff training across Cloverdale and Bentley areas, focusing on both performance enhancements, and ensuring compliance against relevant service delivery standards, policies & procedures.
You will consistently demonstrate a positive and approachable disposition to all people, including those experiencing varying levels of ability. Self-motivated in your approach, you will thrive both when working independently and as a part of a team. You will be committed to delivering high quality outcomes across a range of performance areas and will enjoy creating, delivering, and recording outcomes of training provided to our teams.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Support staff with day-to-day troubleshooting issues related to systems and process
- Auditing NDIS Client Plans against the national requirements
- Delivering training to Local Area Coordination Staff in line with NDIA requirements
- Develop and adjust training packages to meet the needs of the team
- Working collaboratively with Workplace Trainers across other Mission Australia LAC areas to ensure consistent performance across service delivery standards
**Requirements for Success**
With a significant background working in, or alongside community services and/or disability sectors, you will be confident in your training and assessment processes. Other requirements include:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- At least 2 years' experience in delivery of Workplace Training
- The ability to adjust delivery modes and methods to maximise impact and engagement
- Ability to conduct training needs analysis and develop, implement, and review training plans
- Able to establish mechanisms for feedback and continuous improvement of all training packages
- Experience of working in, or alongside community services sector or equivalent is desirable
- Lived experience of disability (encouraged)
- Full driver licence with no restrictions
