Overview

Contract Term: Ongoing / Long-Term
Pay: $35–$40 per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications) plus super.
Can consider either the nanny working off their own ABN or being employed by the family.
A warm and active family in Wurtulla, Qld is seeking an experienced, engaging, and reliable nanny to care for their two children, aged 2.5 and 4 years.
This is a long-term role based on the southern end of the Sunshine Coast, ideally suited to someone passionate about early childhood development and outdoor adventures.
Regular Schedule
Days: 4-5 days per week (Between Mon – Fri)
Hours: 8.30am – 4.00pm
There is flexibility for fewer or additional days/hours for the right candidate.
Key Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
A university degree in early childhood or education (strongly preferred), or
A minimum of 5 years of recent experience caring for toddlers and preschoolers
Driver's License & Transport:
Current driver's license, insurance, and a clean driving record required
Family car may be available for use, or car seats will be provided for your own vehicle
Other Requirements:
Current First Aid & CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Role Responsibilities
Daily learning and age-appropriate educational activities
Outdoor play and physical engagement (must be fit and active)
Meal and snack preparation for children; occasional family meal prep during nap time
Light household duties: tidying, dishes, laundry, etc.
Participation in the children's scheduled weekly activities and excursions
Bonus: Ability to play a musical instrument
