Role Summary
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence or requiring assistance with care and well-being.
As a first point of contact, you will offer information, advice, and risk assessments to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable individuals. You will work within a multidisciplinary team under a matrix management model, reporting daily to a Team Leader from any of the partner organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide safe and effective support to children, young people, and families in need
* Conduct comprehensive risk and needs assessments and risk management responses
* Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* A Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Relevant professional experience in child and family welfare
* Understanding of the 'Best Interests' framework, CYFA 2005, Family Violence Protection Act 2008, FVISS, CISS and MARAM frameworks
