About your new job: The role will see you deliver quality customer service through processing and preparing accurate and confidential payroll services in accordance with relevant industrial awards, workplace agreements and legislation. • Leading and motivating a small team of payroll officers and oversee the payroll process across Australia • Training and ongoing development of staff • Assisting the team with resolving payroll queries • Payroll reconciliation, month-end & year-end reporting • Interpreting various EAs and Awards and ensuring legislative compliance • Prepare and process Workers Compensation reports • Complete statutory reporting for Workcover, ATO & ABS • Review payroll processes and procedures and implement improvements • Business partner with various department leads to create effective payroll processes • Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business • Lead projects, including system upgrades and automation for the payroll department • Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements • Support all internal and external audits related to payroll About You: You will be an experienced Payroll Manager with previous staff leadership.
