ICT Support Specialist
The King David School seeks a highly skilled and experienced ICT Support Specialist to provide exceptional technical support services to staff and students across all campuses.
This is a full-time position commencing as soon as possible. As an ICT Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide timely and effective technical support to staff and students via various communication channels.
* Respond to and resolve technical issues promptly, prioritizing tasks to meet service level agreements.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative solutions to improve ICT services.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of ICT policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field such as computer science, information technology, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
Desirable Requirements:
* Professional certifications in areas such as Microsoft Windows, VMware, or Cisco networking.
* Experience working with Synergetic Management System, MSSQL/MySQL, or Google Apps.
* Knowledge of developing trends in ICT, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
