Ongoing Full-Time About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a passionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team within the Forensic Mental Health Service.
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.
As part of our dedicated inpatient team, you'll provide expert psychiatric care to individuals within the criminal justice system who require specialised mental health treatment.
This challenging yet rewarding role combines clinical excellence with the opportunity to influence positive outcomes for some of our community's most vulnerable members.
In this role, you'll contribute to innovative treatment programs, provide expert assessments and support the rehabilitation journey of patients transitioning back to community settings.
Your expertise will directly influence treatment outcomes and contribute to reducing recidivism through effective mental health intervention.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
