Job Title: Ecologist (Expressions of Interest)

We are seeking expressions of interest from field ecologists looking to start or further their career in ecological consulting.

Key Responsibilities
* Conducting ecological surveys and assessments in rural or remote regions
* Developing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, including peers, clients, and government agencies
* Collaborating with experienced professionals to deliver projects and achieve team goals
* Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in ecology
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree or postgraduate qualification in environmental science, botany, zoology, or a related field
* Experience in conducting ecological surveys and assessments, preferably in NSW
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
* Proficiency in GIS and electronic data capture
* A strong desire to work flexible hours and travel for fieldwork, including extended periods in rural or remote areas
